After having kind of a blah day, I went to my weekly team combat class. Exercising always makes me feel better and losing SEVEN, yes SEVEN pounds in one week made me feel a whole lot better. I have switched up my exercising routine this week-running on a treadmill for speed and doing a couple of morning workouts as well. I guess the boring treadmill is paying off!
I’m a little sad that my “babies” will be 15 months this weekend, but weighing 10 pounds less than I did when I got pregnant with them is definitely helping!
Team Combat-Round 4. I started team combat when the twins were 4 months old. Squats were hard, running wasn’t easy, and I couldn’t do a push-up to save my life.
Now, Steele and Harrison are 9 months old. I am 19 pounds lighter and my body fat has gone from 36 to 20! I can run again, do push-ups(girl ones, but working towards real ones) and I even told Jake (our trainer) that I think squats are easy now.
During this 8 week session, I vow to lose 5 pounds, 3 percent body fat, and run a 5k somewhere in the 25 minute range. Having a weekly check keeps me motivated and on track to where I want to be!
