After having kind of a blah day, I went to my weekly team combat class.  Exercising always makes me feel better and losing SEVEN, yes SEVEN pounds in one week made me feel a whole lot better.  I have switched up my exercising routine this week-running on a treadmill for speed and doing a couple of morning workouts as well.  I guess the boring treadmill is paying off!
I’m a little sad that my “babies” will be 15 months this weekend, but weighing 10 pounds less than I did when I got pregnant with them is definitely helping!

Team Combat-Round 4.  I started team combat when the twins were 4 months old.  Squats were hard, running wasn’t easy, and I couldn’t do a push-up to save my life.
Now, Steele and Harrison are 9 months old.  I am 19 pounds lighter and my body fat has gone from 36 to 20!  I can run again, do push-ups(girl ones, but working towards real ones) and I even told Jake (our trainer) that I think squats are easy now.
During this 8 week session, I vow to lose 5 pounds, 3 percent body fat, and run a 5k somewhere in the 25 minute range.  Having a weekly check keeps me motivated and on track to where I want to be!

I’ve made it 14 days out of my 90 day plan of working out everyday.  I am trying, no I should say I am working out everyday until our anniversary on May 28th. I’m wanting  to run faster, get more miles in, and lose these last 10 pounds.  I figure if I do at least 30 minutes of working out everyday this has to happen.

So far, I’ve ran almost 50 miles in the past two weeks, taken 5 one hour classes at the gym, lifted 3 times (I’m working on doing this more), played 4 hours of tennis as well as my Sunday night soccer league games.

Today, it took a lot to get me to run 3.5 miles as I was so sore from a hard run and my bootcamp class that I took last night for an hour.  Normally, I would have taken today off, but with this beautiful weather I just took my time to enjoy life outside, while getting healthy too!

Weighing in tonight at my weekly team combat class was so rewarding esp. after being in New York City with the hubby enjoying the weekend. Finally, I can say the 55 pounds of baby weight is off!  I do admit I have been dedicated to working out, running, and lately using loseit.com  to help me achieve this goal.  The twins are 6 months old now, so yes I’m not like the celebrities who look great after 6 weeks, but 6 months isn’t too bad either.
Next up, #9 on my 2012 to do list… Have confidence in wearing a swimsuit.  11 pounds and I will be back to my wedding day weight where I was confident in how I looked.  I vow to be there on our seven year anniversary this year on May 28th and know that my guardian angel (my grandpa) will push me to get there!
